WELCOME TO INGFIELD FARM

ABOUT US

THE FARM

We are a family run business, being 4th generation farmers. Our campsite first began in 1980 by Gordon Knowles, who started with a few caravans alongside the farm, and has been continued on by his wife and sons family. As well as camping we also have sheep, llamas, chickens, and alpaca's!

We welcome walking and cycling groups to our site, having the Trans-Pennine trial closeby and the recent Tour de France route. Footpaths and bridal ways run alonside our farm and we are surrounded by the Ingbirchworth, Royd Moor and Scout Dyke Reservoirs which are great for walking and fishing.

We also work closely with disabled groups and have been working with Duke of Edinburgh groups for many years.

Location

We are a family run campsite situated on a working farm on the edge of the Peak District, in the village of Ingbirchworth, near Penistone South Yorkshire. Surrounded by stunning views, excellent walks, cycling, and local attractions nearby.  Ideal for families and couples in a quiet rural location with lots of things to do nearby.

   Facilties

Our campsite offers a large well kept field with electric hook ups and fresh water taps at each. We also have a smaller enclosed paddock, which is ideal for family groups and smaller gatherings.

We are a dog friendly site, with on site parking, toilet and shower block and washing up facilities, with disabled access.
