INGFIELD FARM CAMPING
Covid-19 Secure Policy
We are back! The last few months have seen our country and the world experience a public health emergency as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, the Government have published industry guidelines that we have to follow and it is critical that we take a range of measures as we open our gates and welcome you once again to Ingfield Farm Camping. Where the enforcing authority, such as HSE or Barnsley Metropolitan Council, deem that these guidelines are not being followed they will issue enforcement notices, fines or closure notices. We must ensure that anyone who feels unwell stays at home. We will be screening our team members daily before the start of their shifts and checking temperatures with an infrared thermometer. If you are feeling unwell, or showing symptoms of COVID-19, a new dry cough, fever or loss of taste or smell then you must not visit us. We must comply with social distancing guidelines set out by the government. This is currently two metres whenever possible or one metre plus where this isn’t possible. Social distancing must be observed at all times by both our team members and campers. If you don’t think this applies to you, then with the greatest respect, Ingfield Farm is probably not the place for you
Booking may be parties of up to 6 people from two households, including support bubbles or a party of up to 6 people from any number of households.
When you arrive you will be checked in, as we must keep a temporary record of your visit for 21 days to assist the NHS Test and Trace, and then you will be shown to your pitch. Your details will only be used for this purpose and will not be shared with any other third parties
We must remind you that you are responsible for supervising your children at all times. They should stay with you and follow social distancing guidelines.
We are a dog friendly site! However you must keep your dogs with you at all times, under control and on a lead.
Rubbish must be sorted and placed in correct bin.
Both the Gents and Ladies Showers and toilets will be closed until further notice. You are responsible to provide your own facilities, the bushes under no circumstances should be used as an alternative, anyone found ignoring this rule will be asked to leave immediately, and invoiced £100 clean up charge.
We reserve the right to cancel bookings if we feel you have arrived without appropriate hygienic toilet facilities.
We have a thorough cleaning regime in place, with our team washing hands every 20 minutes and hourly sanitizing high frequency touch points, such as the Elsan, Keypad for barrier, hand rails, bins and pot-wash area.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
The Government guidelines state that additional PPE beyond what we would normally wear is not beneficial, and COVID-19 needs to be managed through social distancing, and good hygiene. As a workplace we are not to encourage the precautionary use of extra PPE. However we do have everything in place and you may see us wearing gloves, face masks or visors. Also depending on individual personal circumstances some team members may wear PPE more often, or indeed all of the time.
The world has changed since we last saw you, and there are lots of things that we’ve had to put in place to be able to open. We’ve tried really hard to keep it as simple as possible, and to think of everything. There will be something that we’ve missed, and it will take us a little while to learn on the job! We’re all in this together and we’re looking forward to seeing you all, but please remember, be kind, we might make a few mistakes, but we want your experience at Ingfield to be the best, so we’ll be working hard to get things right. At the same time, we won’t be taking any nonsense, so please, follow the guidelines, they’re not our rules, and they’re there to help put COVID-19 to bed so we can get back to normal! Thanks for your support, and we’ll see you soon.
Thank you for your understanding
