YORKSHIRE SCULPTURE PARK
A great day out for the family. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an open-air gallery in West Bretton near Wakefield , West Yorkshire. The park also houses a collection of modern and contemporary art, and changing exhibitions. Shop and restaurant also onsite.

CANNON HALL MUSEUM
KIRKLEES LIGHT RAILWAY
Cannon Hall is a stunning Georgian country house, surrounded by beautiful parkland and gardens, and is the perfect day for all the family. The park includes an outdoor children's play area, cafe and gift shop.

YORKSHIRE MINING MUSEUM
Perfect for younger children, this runs from Clayton West to Shelley, a 3½-mile train journey. The train terminates at Shelley station, where a tea room and play equipment for children can be found. Engines are readied for the return trip at the turntable. Plus, there's a ride-on 7¼in miniature railway for a fun trip around a small lake.
